Burnie Hulen Wright, 92, of Denton
Valley, died Wednesday (Dec 5, 2007) at a Clyde care center.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2007, in Kendrick
Cemetery at Denton Valley with Rev. James Teel officiating
under the direction of Bailey
Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 -7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral
home.
Mr. Wright was born June 7, 1915, in Marlow, Oklahoma, to Charles Easton
and Martha Emsley (Foster) Wright, a family of nine children.
He served in the United States Army in the Battle of the Bulge and also in the European Theater/North Africa. He received a Bronze Star.
He was the widower of Paulene Keller, whom he married December 18, 1960, in Wichita Falls. They moved to the Denton Valley
community in 1971 from Wichita
Falls. Mr. Wright was a farmer and a truck driver. He was a member of the
Oplin Baptist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
